On November 13, during a ceremonial meeting of the Senate of Lodz University of Technology, nearly 130 employees and students received awards and honors.
Silver Crosses of Merit were awarded to two scientists: Prof. Krzysztof Strzelec from the Faculty of Chemistry and dr. inż. Jacek Nowakowski from the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering. Dr. Łukasz Grzejszczak from the Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design received the Bronze Cross of Merit. Additionally, 73 individuals were honored with Medals for Long Service, presented by the Deputy Voivode of Lodz, Marek Mazur.
Thirty academic teachers from the university received Medals from the Commission of National Education from the Lodz superintendent, Janusz Brzozowski.
During the ceremony, 15 employees of Lodz University of Technology and 8 external individuals were awarded the badge "Meritorious for Lodz University of Technology" by the Rector, Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik.
Students and graduates were recognized for their outstanding achievements, including diploma thesis. Notable awards included the “NOT” award for the best graduate from the university and additional prizes from collaborating companies.
Honorary Senior Professor badges were awarded to Prof. Krzysztof Dems from the Faculty of Materials Technology and Textile Design and Prof. Piotr Liczberski from the Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics.
