A Special Meeting with Students of Professor Alicja Dorabialska

This was the second meeting organized as part of the celebrations for the 80th jubilee of the university, dedicated to the patron of the jubilee - Professor Alicja Dorabialska, titled "Professor Alicja Dorabialska and the Faculty of Chemistry at TUL in Memories...".

The guests included collaborators, doctoral candidates, and students of Professor Dorabialska, who shaped the history of the Faculty of Chemistry and the entire Lodz University of Technology:

• Professor Henryk Bem, 

• Professor Ewa Hawlicka,

• Professor Janina Karolak-Wojciechowska,

• Professor Zbigniew Kamiński,

• Professor Władysław Pękala,

• Associate Professor Zbigniew Czerwik,

• Doctor Engineer Ewa Burzyńska-Bem.

This time we heard emotional, very personal memories shared by those who personally knew the professor. Our guests were esteemed employees and students, and although we talked about events from the second half of the 20th century, their memories are as vivid as if they were speaking about yesterday's events, says Professor Anna Jeremus-Lewandowska, who led the meeting in the TUL auditorium (Politechniki 3a). The event began at 6:00 PM.

We will always remember Professor Alicja Dorabialska as a wonderful dean, scientist, educator, and an extraordinarily kind person to everyone, wholeheartedly devoted to Lodz University of Technology.
